V České republice, Rakousku a kdekoliv v Evropě i ve světě jsme svědky nejasné interakce ekonomiky, národní bezpečnosti a sociálních pnutí. Krize a rozpory kapitalismu se stávají stále zřejmějšími. Jednoduchou odpovědí mnoha lidí na tento vývoj je touha po “silném vůdci”, jenž by přinesl stabilitu. “Raději méně svobod než chaos,” je běžně přijímaný názor.

Tato touha je aktivována mnoha aktéry, autoritáři jsou na vzestupu: je jedno, jestli jde o Stranu přímé demokracie (Okamurovce), FPÖ, Identitáře, turecké či polské nacionalisty nebo o islamistické a jihadistické skupiny: ti všichni slibují jiný politický řád, jenž znamená nekompromisní vládu nad jejich vlastním “národem”. Tento “národ” je definován národností, etnicitou nebo náboženstvím.

Aktivace těchto tužeb je také výsledkem vlády Evropské unie: jsme svědky normalizace politických požadavků, jež dříve zastávala krajní pravice. Nejde jen o zpřísňování politik národní bezpečnosti, masivní dohled, omezování práva na azyl. Také obecně autoritářské zhoršování vládní praxe je v celé Evropě většinou akceptováno jako nová normalita.

V časech zřejmé krize slouží uprchlíci – a další, kteří nejsou považováni za součást národního společenství – za původce sociálních problémů. Sociální boje jsou obraceny do rasistických projekcí. Privilegia, zahrnutí jedné skupiny a vyloučení jiných, bývají vysvětlována konstrukty jako je národ, pohlaví nebo kultura. Nacionalisté našli odpověď na sociální problémy v sebepojímání coby neustálých obětí. Našli si nepřítele. Jejich představu jednoty národa a státu ale následuje vyloučení a násilí.

A když jsou tzv. cizinci činěni zodpovědnými za vše špatné, očekává se od států, že budou bránit národní společenství. Stát ale nemůže předcházet krizím kapitalismu. A není to v silách ani uskupení jako je Evropská unie, jež se stále více stává “pevností” a to doslova. Stále více ubývá možností, jak se legálně dostat do Evropy a jak tu legálně žít. Ochrana jedněch funguje jako systematická diskriminace druhých.

V kapitalistickém systému spolu ochranářství a selekce úzce souvisí. Systém regulace migrace funguje na základě logiky vykořisťování. Užiteční jsou vykořisťováni a neužiteční jsou deportováni. Státy a víra v národní celek nás nikdy nespasí, protože státy jsou součástí problému. Potřebují odpoutat pozornost od své zřejmé bezmocnosti tváří v tvář globálnímu ekonomickému vývoji.

Naše kritika tedy musí začít u kořene problému. Je třeba konfrontovat patriarchální kapitalismus, který jako komplexní systém ovlivňuje mnoho různých oblastí našich životů. Hodnoty nehumánní společnosti jsou tak hluboce zakořeněné, že je téměř nemožné představit si možnost jiného uspořádání společnosti. Vzhledem k brutalizaci veřejné diskuse ale nevidíme jinou cestu, než to říct přímo: Je třeba odstranit kapitalismus!

Jsme dneska v ulicích Prahy, abychom projevili náš odpor vůči fašistickým ideologiím a systému, v němž mají tyto ideologie původ. Nepřestaneme bojovat proti nárůstu fašismu, rasismu a sexismu ve společnosti. A nepřestaneme bojovat za dobrý život pro všechny!

Speech of autonome antifa wien at “Nacionalismus není alteranativa” demonstration on 17th November

We are witnessing a diffuse interaction of economics, national security and social upheavals in the Czech Republic, in Austria and the rest of Europe and the world. The crisis and the contradictions of capitalism are becoming ever more apparent. The easy answer of many people to these developments is t desire for a “strong leader” which should bring about stability. “Rather less freedom than chaos” is the commonly accepted opinion.

This desire is activated by many different sides, the authoritarians are in the offence: no matter if Strana přímé demokracie, FPÖ, “Bloc Identitaire”, Turkish or Polish nationalists, islamistic and jihadist groups: they all promise a different political order, meaning an uncompromising governing for their own “nation”. This “nation” is defined along the lines of nationality, ethnicity and religion.

The activation of this desire is also due to the governments of the European Union: we are witnessing a normalization of political demands which used to be occupied by right-wingers. Not only the tightening of national security policies, massive surveillance, the reduction of the right to seek refuge, but also the general authoritarian worsening of governmental action is mostly accepted as a new kind of normality in whole Europe.

In times of an obvious crisis, refugees – and others, which are not perceived as part of the national community – have to serve as the reason of social problems. Social Struggles are turned into racist projections. Privileges, inclusion of one group and exclusion off the others get explained by constructs like Volk, Sex and Culture. Nationalists find an answer to social problems and constrains in constructing themselves as permanent victims. They found an enemy. But their imagination of a unity of Volk and state is followed by exclusion and violence.

And when so called “foreigners” are made responsible and blamed for everything, the state is called upon as a protector of the national community. But the state cannot prevent crises in capitalism from arising, neither can a alliance like the European Union, which is more and more becoming a “fortress” in a literally way. The possibilities to come to Europe on a legal way and to life here with a legal status become less and less . Shielding works as a systematical discrimination of the affected person.

In a capitalistic system shielding and selection are belonging together. According to the logic of exploitation, there is a system to manage migration. The needed get exploited and the needless get deported. The states and the believe in the collective of a nation will never save us, because the states are part of the problem. They need to distract from their obvious helplessness in the face of global economic developments.

So our critique needs to start at the root of the problem. Patriarchal capitalism as a complex system, which influences many different areas of all of our lives must be attacked. The values of an inhumane society are so extremely deeply rooted that it’s almost impossible to imagine the possibility of a different society. But Considering the brutalization of the public dialogues we see no other way than going forward: It’s about abolishing capitalism!

So here we are on the streets of Prague today to show our resistance against fascist ideologies and the system, in which they are growing. We will not stop fighting against the fascist, racist and sexist developments in the society and we will not stop fighting for a good life for everyone!
